A Mary Poppins afternoon tea exists and it looks absolutely MAGICAL

Rebecca O'Keeffe

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

Is there anything better than afternoon tea?

How about a Mary Poppins themed afternoon tea in lovely London? Idyllic.

That’s right folks, there’s a Mary Poppins inspired afternoon tea on offer in the Aquashard in London.

The experience costs £49 per person, and is available to book up to three months in advance.

This tea is served on the cutest little stand, equipped with a Mary Poppins umbrella.

The plates and teacups are also decorated with illustrations from the iconic tale.

Let’s talk about the most important part… the food, which is all inspired by the film.

There are finger sandwiches with roast ham and mustard, dressed Devon crab and cucumber brioche, and Cackleberry egg and black truffle. Delicious.

There are also some of Mary’s beloved mini crumpets served with smoked salmon and cream cheese.

Then there’s the sweet stuff: scones, jams, cakes and tarts that all sound divine.

Aquashard has also created two specialty teas for the experience.

The Mary tea is a blend of elegant teas from around the world, rose petals with a faintly sweet finish.

Bert’s tea is is a blend of lapsang souchoung, keemun, vanilla with a smokey finish.

If you need us, we’ll be on the next flight to London.
