Meghan isn’t allowed eat a certain type of food around the Queen

Meghan warned of one very odd royal rule for spending Christmas with the queen

There’s a lot of rules.

As fun and fancy as it seems being a princess, we think we’d get thrown out of the palace as soon as we stepped in there.

The dress codes, the curtseying, the duchess slant, the protocol, the NO SOCIAL MEDIA. It just wouldn’t happen.

However, as bad as the above are, it has come to light that Meghan Markle is not allowed to eat one of her favourite foods in front of the Queen – and honestly, we’d be out because we legit eat the stuff every single day.

According to Buckingham Palace chef Darren McGrady, the Queen hates garlic. Yep, delicious garlic.

So, if anyone even has the smell of it on their breath, they can’t be around Queen Lizzie.

Speaking to the Express, Darren said: “We can never serve anything with garlic or too many onions.

“The Queen would never have garlic on the menu.”

We’d totally be out of there.

However, we think people are being a tad too harsh around Meghan lately, as they slammed her for trying to hold her husband’s hand the other day.

Yes, we know royal protocol is anti-PDA… but come on lads.

Robin Kermode, a body language guru, explain to The Mirror that Meghan’s move went against Royal tradition.

“The Queen rarely holds hands with her husband in public and this seems to have set an unwritten precedent for the other royals,’ he said.”

“It is very clear that William and Kate are emotionally close, however, they do not seem to feel the need to prove their love — particularly when on official state business.”

I say let her off, she can hold her husband’s hand if she wants – and eat some garlic too.
