This week, one mum decided to post a picture of her lunch.
Sounds standard and inoffensive enough, right?
Wrong.
This mum captioned her chicken salad based lunch with “If you interested… what a very slim person is having for lunch today.”
She also included her height, weight, the fact that she works out six times a week, and that she wouldn’t be eating again until dinner.
Understandably, people were not impressed.
“For some reason this thread has properly tickled me. I may start my own entitled ‘what a slightly chubby person who has just run 14 miles but hasn’t gone shopping yet is having for lunch’,” said one user.
“I am not sure how to react to the thread title. It could be read as smug but hopefully that wasn’t the OP’s intention,” said another.
Someone else went with the ever-sarcastic: “Gosh, how fascinating! Thank you so much for sharing this wisdom! Thank god you turned up!”
Unsurprisingly, not many people on the forum actually seemed to value this slim person’s post.
Even though the mum did include a generic recipe for a chicken salad.
