You need to see this fastest (and most fun) way to peel garlic

Sophie White

Hate, hate, hate peeling garlic? Us too. Peeling garlic is a bit of a day-wrecker. All it takes is one clove peeling session to contaminate everything you touch for the rest of the evening. We’ve tried all the tricks.

Here’s a few in case you’re interested:

1 Pour a little salt or baking soda on hands and rub them together. Rinse with water.

2 Squeeze toothpaste or pour a small amount of mouthwash on one palm, then rub hands together. Rinse with water.

3 Rub hands across a stainless steel utensil under running tap water.

Though we find, no amount of hand washing can truly rid us of the garlic curse which is why we love this non-contact garlic peeling method. This kitchen-hack is like magic.
