Recipe: No-bake Oreo Truffles – A Beyond Delicious Treat

Sharyn Hayden

If you love are a fan of Oreos (and we can’t be friends if you’re not), then you’re going to love making Oreo truffles.

Every time I make them for a party (and it has to be a really special party because they do take a bit of time to do), I get compliment after stuffed-mouth compliment for my efforts. So if you like showing off as much as I do, give these a go!

Oreo

Instructions:

  1. Pour three packets Oreo biscuits into a ziplock bag, grab a rolling pin and bash them until they resemble breadcrumbs.
  2. Put 1 x tub of cream cheese and 1 x teaspoon vanilla extract into a mixing bowl and pour the Oreo crumbs in bit by bit until it is all blended in.
  3. Take a heaped teaspoon-sized amount of the mixture at a time, and roll in the palm of your hand into a truffle-sized ball.
  4. Place all rolled truffle balls onto a lined baking tray (a sheet of greaseproof paper will do it!)
  5. Leave in the fridge for 30 mins to 1 hour
  6. Melt 400 grams of milk chocolate and cover each ball completely by pouring melted choc from a spoon on top – then pop them back into the fridge for ten minutes).
  7. Next melt 300 Grams of white chocolate and drizzle over the top oof your truffles any which way you like. Or mix it up, make the truffle fully covered in white choc and drizzle plain choc on top – it’s up to you!
  8. Scoff – they are too good not to!
