I had a friend over a few weeks ago who just couldn’t get over how many tins we had in the press.
What she didn’t realise is that tins of beans and hoops when you have small picky eaters in the house is not a choice it’s a necessity.
Don’t get me wrong my kids eat plenty of vegetables too but let’s face it the fish fingers and spaghetti hoops phase is a real thing and it can go on for a while.
Most evenings it’s a toss up between pairing beans with their supper or hoops and they can be quite indecisive. Well now they don’t have to be as Heinz have come up with a mash-up product and I can’t get it into my press fast enough.
Yes, Heinz Boopz is a new idea from the popular food company that combines both beans and hoops in one tin.
This latest mashup from Heinz came after some staff had been heard squabbling about their favourite ‘on toast’ Heinz product. Some people thought that there was nothing more comforting than classic Heinz Beanz on toast, whilst others argued the case for scooping Heinz Hoops onto your fork and making funny faces on toast.
They decided there was only one way to resolve things, and mixed Heinz Beanz and Hoops together to create a brand-new Heinz mash-up, nicknamed ‘Boopz’ by the people in question.
Now plans are in the works to make the product a reality and I for one will definitely pick up a few once they hit shelves.
There is currently a poll on the Heinz Ireland Facebook has gone live to ask the general public on whether or not they should make it a reality and I’ve a feeling a fair few parents, like myself, will be hitting the yes option.
