This Revelation About The Varying Price of Prosecco Is Going Viral

HerFamily

We’ve always known that the difference between euro prices and British pound sterling prices is grim when it comes to buying clothes.

But we had no idea that it was equally grim when it comes to purchasing alcohol, including our new go-to drink for celebrations.

People have been taking to Facebook to show the difference in price between Ireland and the UK for a particular brand of prosecco, stocked in Tesco.

Of course you have to take shipping costs and taxes into account but we’re not sure if that justifies the price gap, which is £5.50 compared to €17.99.

Then again, it could have something to do with the fact that experts are saying the amount of prosecco is finite.

Could be time to switch to this tasty alternative or perhaps we should just get a move on and make these prosecco popsicles before it’s too late!
