Scientist says we won’t be drinking any alcohol in ten years time

Ooh, this is interesting.

Ooh, this is interesting.

New booze is on its way… and it’s hangover free.

It feels like since December 1, everyone and their granny is out celebrating, and undoubtedly have suffered a few hangovers, too.

Well, that could all change pretty soon.

A professor from the Imperial College in the UK said hangover-free alcohol could be a reality in as little as 10 years.

In an interview with The International Business Times UK, Professor David Nutt said that the next generation won’t be drinking the booze that we all drink.

“In another 10 or 20 years, Western societies won’t drink alcohol except on rare occasions,” he said.

Hmmm…

Apparently, the next generation will be knocking back a synthetic booze – called alcosynth – with less harmful side effects.

“Alcosynth will become the preferred drink, in the same way that I can see — almost within a decade now in the Western world — tobacco and cigarettes will disappear as they’re replaced by electronic cigarettes.”

We shall see.
