3 easy and delicious homemade bread recipes that you can make in under an hour

Out of bread but dreading the apocalyptic scenes at your local supermarket?

Fear not.

When it comes to bread, making it yourself is actually so easy that once you have discovered how quickly you can whip up your own loaf, you might never go back to the store-bought variety ever again.

Don’t believe us? Why not test one of these recipes out:

1. No-Knead 5-Minute Artisan Bread

Guys, this bread recipe is a total game-changer. Not only because all you need is all-purpose flour, yeast, salt, and water (yes, really), but also because it literally requires no effort at all in making it.

Just mix the dough in bulk, stash it in the fridge and then forget all about it until you’re overtaken by the craving for freshly baked bread. When this happens, simply grab the dough from the fridge, lop off enough for a loaf, shape it, let it rest a few moments, and then slide it in the oven before you go about your life.

Seriously; you’ll never buy bread again.

2. Two-Ingredient Sweet Bread

Easy. fail-proof and delicious – that is all we have to say about these yummy sweet bread rolls. Perfect if the kids want to get in the kitchen and bake with you – as these require minimal mess and fuss, and just the following two ingredients: self-raising flour and whatever fruit-flavoured yoghurt you can lay your hands on.

3. No-Time Bread

Like the name suggests, this bread could not be quicker (or indeed easier) to whip up. If you are a keen baker, you might feel a little suspicious at the ‘no-time’ sell-line, as (rising) time is what generally makes bread good.

However, with this recipe, you are pretty much tricking your yeast into a fast rise that gives a little different but still delicious homemade loaf.
