The ultimate Guacamole for healthy Summer eating from The Happy Pear

Entertaining this weekend? Or maybe you just want something to dip into your hand-made sweet potato crisps?

Is there anything better than a gorgeous Guacamole? Zingy, healthy and full of natural, fresh ingredients, this is a fail-safe crowd-pleaser. Choc-full of fill-you-up protein too, so this is a brilliant choice if yore being ‘good’ plus it’s brilliant for your skin.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 4 ripe avocados
  • juice of 2 limes
  • 5 cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 red chilli
  • 1/4 of a red onion
  • fresh coriander
  • 3/4 teaspoon of cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

Directions:

  • Chop up 4 cloves of garlic
  • Dice up 4 ripe avocados into cubes
  • Add the juice of two limes
  • Add half a teaspoon of salt
  • Add 3/4 teaspoon of cumin
  • Mash all these ingredients up with a fork until chunky.
  • Add 1/4 of a red onion and some coriander
  • Add tomatoes, 1/4 of a chilli if desired
