These (VERY healthy) baby popsicles are absolutely perfect for teething tots

Until you have hung on to your sanity through the phase that is known as teething baby, you really have not lived, in our opinion.

And if you are currently in the middle of these hellish weeks (months, sorry!), we bet you are currently on the hunt for something – anything – than can soothe your baby's poor lil' gums (so that you, and the rest of the neighborhood) can get finally get some sleep.

Fear not, we got you, mamas (and dads!). Put down the Bonjela and follow us into the kitchen.

These baby food popsicle recipes will not only keep everyone happy because they are so delicious, they will also provide a quick (and healthy) cooling down remedy for those little sore gums causing all this trouble.

1. Avocado and Pear Pops

The creaminess of the pureed avocado blended with the sweetness of peeled pears makes these pops perfect for your little tot.

How to:

Puree two avocados and two pears (skin removed).

Fill (BPA free) ice molds half way, instert sticks and freeze.

Makes about six.

2. Watermelon Pops

We can't think of a single baby or child who wouldn't love these sweet and full-of-flavor watermelon popsicles.

How to:

One small, personal-sized watermelon fills about ten popsicle molds.

Soak the sticks in warm water for at least an hour before inserting into the molds to give them some weight, blend watermelon chunks in blender until completely pureed. Pour liquid into molds and freeze.

Once ready to enjoy, run warm water over the lid and the molds to loosen.

3. Strawberry Peach Coconut Popsicles

These pretty much just taste like summer. And who doesn't love summer?!

How to:

  • 4 ounces chopped Strawberries
  • 1 Peach, roughly chopped
  • 6 ounces (3/4 cup) light unsweetened Coconut Milk

Instructions

Put strawberries and peach in a small sauce pan over medium high heat with 1 tablespoon of water. Bring to a boil, partially cover pot & then reduce heat to medium. Cook for about 5 minutes until fruit is soft, stir occasionally.

Remove from heat & let mixture cool. Mix fruit with coconut milk and purée in blender or food processor until smooth.

Fill pop containers with purée, gently press adown and add the stick. Wrap with foil and pierce with popsicle sticks. Freeze for about 2 hours or until solid.

4. Strawberry and Oats Yogurt Pops

Want a fun breakfast? These frosty treats have everything little ones need to start their day — all in popsicle form! By throwing some oats into a smoothie, it adds some needed fiber to the meal. Y-UM.

How to:

(Recipe makes 8 to 12 pops - depending on your molds)

2 cups Greek yogurt
1 large ripe banana
8 ounces strawberries, hulled
1/4 cup porridge oats
2 tablespoons maple syrup

Combine yogurt, banana, strawberries, oats and maple syrup  in a blender. Puree until smooth, pour into molds and freeze until solid 4 to 6 hours.

5. Creamed Corn Popsicles

Sweet corn is often a favorite of little ones, and in these clever and yummy pops, the kernels have been combined with creamy coconut milk for a sweet and tasty frozen treat.

How to:

Steam some sweet corn, add to a blender with some coconut milk and blend. Freeze. It is that easy.
