Warning: This Will Forever Change The Way You Eat Ice Cream

Trine Jensen-Burke

OK, so let’s all agree that when it comes to dessert, few things can beat a humble scoop of ice cream.

But if you really want to push your culinary skills over the top, we have a (tasty!) suggestion for you: How about serving your scoop of cookie dough or plain vanilla in a – wait for it – freshly baked brownie bowl.

That’s right. Make your ice cream bowl out of brownies – and watch your guests bow to your domestic goddess greatness.

The best bit? It is easy peasy to do!

Directions

  1. Follow the directions for your favorite brownie recipe to make the batter.
  2. Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray and add brownie batter to each cup until they’re about two-thirds full.
  3. Place in the oven and bake, following your brownie recipe’s directions.
  4. In the meantime, spray the bottom half of your second muffin tin with cooking spray.
  5. Once the brownies are baked, remove from the oven and immediately press the second muffin tin into the brownies. Keep both tins pressed together until the brownies are cool.

Now; all there is left to do is to add a scoop of ice cream into each bowl, top with chocolate sauce and sprinkles – for the finishing touch.

Dig in!
