After months of neglect, DSPCA ask for help getting these two dogs back to health

The poor doggos.

We hate seeing anyone be neglected, and we have a little soft spot in our hearts for dogs (and animals in general, really).

That’s why we really felt for these two doggos that were left in an absolutely awful conditions.

Taking to a Facebook page, the DSPCA is looking for help in funding to bring the two pets back to health.

The fundraising page reads: “Safe after months of neglect.

“We named this little soul Ivy. She was in such a horrific condition that we were unable to identify what bred she was and only when we checked her microchip did we discover she was a black labrador.

“Ivy has the sweetest nature, her tail never stops wagging even though the pain and suffering from a horrendous case of mange, massive growth on her shoulder, puncture wounds all over her body and legs, heart murmur and arthritis.

“She was found tided to Ashton Pound with a German Shepherd who we have now called Duke. Duke has also been checked over by our veterinary team, he also has sores over his body, slightly under weight and with a milder case of mange.

“Both these dogs will be under veterinary care of a number of weeks and possibly months so please look at those into those sad eyes and make them smile again.”

It’s absolutely heartbreaking but we’re delighted that they’re being properly looked after now. You can check out the page here.
