Andy Whyment says he wants to go back to his ‘normal, boring life’ after I’m A Celeb fame

He literally wants to sit on the sofa… just like the rest of us!

Andy Whyment finished second on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here 2019, and we have to say that we absolutely fell in love with him during his time on the show.

And even though the Coronation Street star was runner up of the entire series, he told The Mirror that he just wants to go back to his regular life.

“I’m looking forward to getting back and just getting into my normal boring life of just sitting on the sofa, getting home from work, closing the front door and watching telly,” he told the publication.

Corrie’s on series link, yeah, so I’ll be catching up on Corrie. I always do. I’ll still remain myself. I’ll still go to Asda on a Friday, do the big shop with [my wife] Nic.

“But I know I’m going to get recognised a lot more now, which is, don’t get me wrong, is nice, but it certainly won’t change me.”

Andy said that the hardest thing about being in the jungle was not seeing his wife and his emotions got the better of him the minute he left the camp.

“I hadn’t seen her before that, so I just burst into tears, just saying, ‘I just want to see her now, I want to see her now’.

“They brought her down for me and it was just so nice to see her face because I’ve missed her so, so, so, so much. That’s been the hardest thing.”
