Due this month? April babies supposedly share a lovely personality trait

Science says so.

Reckon this is true?

Celebrating a birthday or expecting a baby this month? We have some good news.

According to science, April babies tend to be positive people. A number of studies suggest that those born this month share a predisposition for optimism.

Research by TIME magazine found that people born in the spring in general “score high on the hyperthymia scale,” says the publication.

“Hyperthymia is general optimism — the ability to see every down as a prelude to an up, every market crash as a run-up to a boom.”

Another study suggests that this ability to look on the bright side makes April babies good with people.

They are supposedly kind and understanding, giving them the ability to cheer others up and motivate them.

A person’s birth month has also been associated with certain careers, like March babies being the most likely to become pilots.

However, according to the Office for National Statistics in the UK, there looks to be a fairly even spread of job types for those born in April.

It’s not all good news, however. TIME revealed that, in contrast with their sunny outlook on life, those high on the hyperthymia scale were also the most likely to be diagnosed with clinical depression.

Paul Rudd, Michael Fassbender, Saoirse Ronan and Emma Watson are some famous faces who celebrate birthdays in April.

Celebrities who have welcomed babies so far this month include Khloe Kardashian and Jamie Lynn Spears, while Kate Middleton is due to become a mum-of-three any day now.
