Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have given royal fans the ultimate gift on their wedding anniversary – new photos from the big day.
Though millions of people watched the royal nuptials last year, there was a lot we weren’t privy to until now.
Posted to Instagram, the new images give a feel of what it was like to be there as the now Duke and Duchess of Sussex said “I do”.

They include shots of Harry and his best man Prince William leaving for the church, Meghan sharing a private moment with her mum and each of the couple signing the marriage certificate.
The photos were compiled into a slideshow and set to a gospel choir rendition of ‘This Little Light of Mine’; the song chosen by the bride and groom for the recessional on the day.
In a message from Meghan and Harry themselves, they thank fans for making their wedding “more meaningful”.
“Thank you for all of the love and support from so many of you around the world.
“Each of you made this day even more meaningful.”
It’s hard to believe that Meghan and Harry have been married for just a year, but they’ve definitely packed in a lot in the past 12 months – a three-week royal tour, endless engagements, a cook book and, of course, the birth of their first child.
The couple became parents on 6 May when baby Archie was born.
