Congratulations are in order for Brigitte Nielsen, who has just given birth to her fifth child.
Brigitte, who is 54, welcomed the child, a baby girl, with husband Mattia Dessi.
The actress confirmed the news to People magazine, saying it had been “a long road, and so worth it.”
“We are overjoyed to welcome our beautiful daughter into our lives.
“It’s been a long road, and so worth it. We’ve never been more in love.”
She broke the news of her pregnancy just weeks ago with a post on Instagram saying that her family was “getting larger” and that she was experiencing some “positive vibes.”
The former Playboy model shared two photos of herself posing with her baby bump.
She has been married to Italian producer Mattia since 2006.
He is Brigitte’s fifth husband and this is her first child with him.
She was married to Sylvester Stallone between 1985 and 1987 and was also previously married to Raoul Meyer, Sebastian Copeland, and Kasper Winding.
Brigitte is also mum to four sons – 34-year-old Julian, 28-year-old Killian, 25-year-old Douglas and 23-year-old Raoul.
