You can kit out your rugby loving little ones for the World Cup with these Aldi jerseys

Come on you boys in green!

Are your kids the kid who want rackets during Wimbledon, a football during the Euros and a tape measure to use as a finishing line when the Olympics are on? Then you’ll want to kit them out for the upcoming Rugby World Cup.

Little sports fans love any excuse to shout for a team (and let’s face it, we’ll all be jumping on that particular bandwagon come November!) and they’ll really feel that they’re part of it kitted out in green.

Enter Aldi, which is releasing a line of official Rugby World Cup merchandise. The range includes a choice of two tops embroidered with the official tournament logo. The long-sleeved cotton top is like a rugby jersey of old (before they got all shiny and clingy) with a white collar. It costs €12.99 and is available for ages 3 to 12.

Similarly, the hoodie – which has a kangaroo pocket and navy-lined hood – is available for ages 3 to 12 and costs €14.99. And for families who like to look like a team, there’s tops, hoodies and fleeces available for men and women too.

If, as is most likely, your kids would prefer to be out scoring tries in their own imaginary World Cup instead of sitting inside watching the matches from Japan, then you can pick up a midi sized rugby ball with the tournament logo in red or blue.

You need know, you may be inspiring the next Johnny Sexton or Ciara Griffin.
