It’s been the question every Coronation Street fan has been waiting for an answer to.
And in Friday night’s episode, the person who set fire to Peter Barlow’s boat was finally revealed.
Earlier this week, the Lost Buoy – the boat Carla bought for Peter – went up in flames.
Peter’s ex, Abi Franklin, quickly became the prime suspect for the blaze after they had an angry row and she went on a drunken bender.
But it turns out that it was Roy Cropper – yes, really – who set fire to Peter Barlow’s boat.
Not on purpose, though – poor Roy was blissfully asleep the entire time.
Yes, that’s right: he sleepwalked all the way to the boat, before sitting down beside it – and accidentally knocking over the gas lamp which began the fire.
We've found Carla's CCTV Footage of sleepwalking Roy accidentally setting fire to Peter's boat… 😴🔥

Carla deleted the footage after she found out the truth – protecting Roy, and extending Peter’s search for the truth about what happened that night.
When he accused her of purposely deleting the CCTV footage, Carla told him there was a “gremlin in the system” that caused it to vanish.
He accused her of burning the boat after she got jealous when she saw him with someone else – telling her that it’s “not the end of this” as he left the house.
