It looks like Coronation Street has revealed Sophie Webster’s exit storyline – and it’s going to be emotional.

Brooke Vincent, the actress who plays Sophie, recently left the soap to go on maternity leave.

And now it looks like her final scenes are set to soon play out on-screen, as Sophie is set to get an inheritance which would allow her to take the time to go traveling.

After becoming tired of living in Weatherfield with her father and brother, it begins to look like Sophie may have found a new direction in life – taking a business management course.

According to MetroPaula pops in to present Sophie with a satchel and a laptop for the first day of her course. But when Sophie gets a photo from Kate on a sun-soaked beach, she looks at her phone longingly – not aware that Paul is watching her.

As she studies her textbooks, it becomes incredibly clear that the business course really isn’t here.

Kevin’s sister, Debbie, shows up at the garage with some bad news: their Auntie Vi has died, leaving behind a £200,000 inheritance for Debbie.

And Kevin is stunned when his sibling says she wants him to have the money – and tells her that he can’t accept it.

As Debbie begins to sense that Sophie may not be enjoying her business course, she encourages her nice to follow her heart and go travelling.

Kevin says he intends to split the money equally between himself and his three children, Sophie, Rosie, and Jack.

Could this be the push Sophie needs to go travelling rather than staying on the business course?
