Emmerdale fans convinced Joe Tate is alive after this huge ‘clue’ last night

Emmerdale fans are convinced that Joe Tate is actually still alive after (another) massive clue.

Last October, fans were left devastated when the businessman was seemingly murdered by Graham Foster on the demands of Kim Tate.

Graham managed to trick Cain Dingle into believing he had killed Joe with a punch to the head, causing him months of agonising guilt and sparking a feud with his daughter Debbie.

Since Joe’s ‘death’, there’s been a lot (and we mean a lot) of back-and-forth about what actually happened.

The show is saying that he is 100 per cent, completely and totally dead. But some cast members have been speculating if Joe could end up coming back to the ‘dales in a huge twist.

Which we kind of understand, especially since there’s been no sign of Joe’s body – or even an outright confirmation that he died.

And after Friday night’s episode, Emmerdale fans are more convinced than ever that Joe is actually alive.

It all began when Graham began to behave suspiciously after Kim began to dig into Joe’s death, convinced that he wasn’t telling her the whole truth about what happened.

She eventually decided to deal with Cain herself, telling Graham that he had let his “personal feelings for Joe cloud your judgement”.

She added:

“It made you weak Graham, and I don’t like that. I need to know I can rely on you when the going gets tough.”

Graham insisted that there was no other evidence or “loose ends, nothing that can be traced back here and nothing that can be connected to you.”

After threatening Cain to try and make sure he would do as she says, Kim turned her attentions back to Graham.

She told him she was going to go through the accounts to see if he had been up to any dodgy dealings, before she found out about some mystery withdrawals from one of her offshore accounts.

Graham tried to explain it off as “part of Nicola and Robert’s scam”, promising Kim:

“I must have missed a few payments. Won’t happen again, I’ll sort it.”

Kim told Graham he had a week to find the money, before leaving he room – and spying on him through. secret camera she had installed.

She watched on in shock as Graham pulled out a phone, calling up a mystery person and telling them:  “We’ve got a problem. We’re going to need another plan.”

The secretive phone call has led viewers convinced that Joe is definitely alive.
