Emmerdale hints at six unexpected rescuers for Rebecca White

Her rescuers aren't quite who we expected.

It looks like some of the youngest residents of Emmerdale may be the ones responsible for rescuing Rebecca White.

The mum has spent the last few weeks held captive by her twisted nephew, Lachlan, who has her locked up in an unused cabin in the middle of the woods.

And things have been bad for Rebecca so far. Like, really, really bad.

But next week, they look set to get even worse when Lachlan decides to take a break from his daily visits and go on holiday.

She begins to hammer at her chains, hoping to free herself, but ends up knocking over her water bottle instead – and is left close to death after losing her supply.

But it looks like some unlikely members of the village are going to be coming to her rescue.

Nicola King invites Laurel Thomas, Bob Hope and the kids to join her family as they go camping in the woods. But after hearing Bob’s spooky stories, Angelica, Carl, April, Heath, Cathy and Arthur head off for a walk in the woods – and get scared by strange noises in the distance.

They return to the adults, reporting back on what they heard, but their worries are also instantly dismissed.

Later on in the week, once they’re safely back in the village, the children lie about their plans for the day and head off into the words to search for the ‘ghost’ they heard.

Lachlan panics when he returns form his holiday, only to find out that the children are searching for Rebecca in the woods. He runs off in the hopes of getting to her first, but the kids have a big head start.

In fact, they even find the shack.

As they nervously creep forward, Angelica moves to open the door – but who will be waiting for them on the other side?

Has Lachlan gotten there first, or is Rebecca finally going to be saved?
