Could it finally be game over for Lachlan?

Is it finally game over for Lachlan?

Emmerdale killer Lachlan White has been on a rampage over the last few months – and will continue into this week.

Dramatic scenes airing this week show the murderous teen plotting to kill Robert Sugden and Liv Flaherty, after causing a carbon monoxide leak at Mill Cottage.

He takes drastic action after becoming convinced that Liv had uncovered his secret – however, when Rebecca tells him that little Seb is with Robert for the day, Lachlan races back to try and save him.

He’s confronted by a bleary Liv, who he pushes out of the way. She hits her head and is left lying lifeless on the floor. With both Liv and Robert unconscious, Lachlan becomes convinced he’s gotten away with murder again.

Only for Rebecca, Lachlan’s last adult family member, to turn up at the cottage and seemingly catch him. Lachlan is then seen clutching a bloody spanner as he closes the boot on his latest victim.

There’s a bit of good news for Rob and Liv: it looks like they’re going to survive the intense episode (mostly since they are seen and mentioned in the preview photos for next week).

The bad news? Rebecca White may not be so lucky, as she’s now missing.

According to DigitalSpythe long-running hope has hinted that Robert Sugden could be the one to bring down Lachlan once and for all.

The teenager had managed to cover his tracks fairly well with his previous crimes, but he’s not too successful this time around.

Lydia Hart finds Rebeca’s memory book stashed away in his car – and though Lachlan lies and claims that the book must’ve fallen out of Rebecca’s bag, it’s not clear if Lydia will believe him.

His cover up attempts continue later on in the week when, at his birthday celebrations, he fakes a celebration text from Rebecca to himself. But he raises suspicion when he loses his temper after he is quizzed about her, rushing out of The Woolpack.

Robert is concerned about Rebecca’s sudden disappearance, deciding to search her room for clues – and he’s left stunned by what he actually finds.
