It’s here!
Ever since we heard a movie about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s relationship was in the works, we’ve been dying for a look at it.
Yes, Lifetime announced earlier this year that they were producing a movie, Harry & Meghan: A Royal Engagement, about the royal couple’s first few months as a couple right up until their engagement and beyond.
Well, we’ve finally gotten that first-look we’ve been hoping for, in the form of this 20-second teaser trailer.
The teaser shows the movie’s stars, Parisa Fitz-Henley and Murray Fraser, recreate Harry and Meghan’s first date and time spent in Africa and, of course, the proposal.
The short-look also showed a somewhat steamy look at the couple in bed together that we can’t imagine the Queen will be happy about.
It also revealed that the movie will premiere on Lifetime on May 13, just under a week before the real-life Harry and Meghan are to marry.
Let’s hope this film goes down better than William and Kate’s Hallmark movie which was released back in 2011.
The film also told the story of their relationship from early on and followed it right through to their engagement. However, it didn’t quite land with fans of the royals.
