She was shocked, to say the least.

A 50-year-old woman found out she was 6-months pregnant after just being told by doctors that she was in menopause.

Michele Hall, who lives in Florida in the US, said that in October of last year she was experiencing aches and pains, which she initially thought was lupus as she has been battling with it for the past ten years.

However, the pain continued so Michele decided to take a pregnancy test.

Naples Daily News reports that when the the plus sign came up on the pregnancy test, she couldn’t believe her eyes. Michele is already a mother of four and grandmother of two.

After a visit to the doctors she discovered she was 6 months pregnant.

She told the publication: “Everyone was in shock.” The grandmother was told by two doctors earlier that year that she had hit menopause.

“She just released that one egg that did it,” Dr. Tom Beckett, Michele’s doctor who delivered her son said.

Michele welcomed her son in January and said “I’m 100 percent sure I’m not having any more kids.”
