The adorable gesture Harry and Meghan make to show they miss each other.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex often make public appearances together but since their marriage last year, they have taken on their own separate engagements too.

Harry has this week gone back to work after welcoming his first child with Meghan, baby Archie, over the May bank holiday weekend.

Eagle-eyed royal fans have spotted that the couple always do the same thing, an adorable gesture to be fair, when they’re apart from each other and it’s all very cute altogether.

Apparently, Meghan and Harry always touch their wedding rings when they’re apart from and now people think they do this to show how much they’re missing each other.

During Monday night’s event, Meghan couldn’t stop playing with her wedding ring and as Cosmopolitan pointed out, Harry was spotted doing the exact same thing during a recent appearance.

A body language expert has weighed in on the subject too and there’s a really lovely meaning behind this gesture, something that Harry and Meghan are probably doing subconsciously.

Chatting to Express previously Judi James explained:

“In Harry’s case this looks like a self-comfort ritual performed for two reasons, when he’s feeling under pressure or lonely.”

“It allows him to create a barrier with his arms but by seeking out his wedding ring to touch and play with it suggests he’s missing the back-up and support of his wife here”.

We didn’t think it was possible for them to get any cuter and then we find out about this adorable gesture.
