Celebrities who share aspects of their private lives on social media are often subject to criticism and probably none more so than celebrity mums.

Holly Willoughby is the latest to come in for mummy-shaming after posting a family photo on Instagram.

The sweet snap shows the presenter and her three kids looking out on Sydney Harbour and was taken during Holly’s time Down Under while hosting I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here.

“Australia… you are beautiful and brilliant! This feels like a dream ago…,” she captioned the shot.

It prompted comments from some of her followers about her taking her kids out of school to be with her while she was away.

“I am a little curious as to if celebrities are fined for kids being out of school?” wrote one commenter.

Lots of Holly’s fans were quick to defend her, pointing out that her children had a private tutor.

“They’re home-schooled when away working but by a tutor, thus no fines. Any child public or private can be registered as home-schooled,” said one.

“Whether her children are privately educated, state educated or tutored has absolutely nothing to do with anyone but her and Dan. Everyone makes choices and it’s not for anyone else to pass judgment – rich or poor, famous or not. Let it be,” wrote another.

It was reported that Holly agreed to the I’m A Celebrity job on the condition that she could bring her family.

She and husband Daniel Baldwin are parents to Harry, nine, Belle, seven and Chester, four.
