It all begins this Sunday.
I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! is reportedly set to break one of its own records this year…and in a pretty grim way.
Each year, we know there are some things that are guaranteed to happen in I’m A Celeb’s Bushtucker Trials: the campmates are going to have to eat some horrifyingly gross ‘delicacies’; the Celebrity Cyclone and, of course, lots of bugs (and other creepy crawlies).
Matt Wilkinson, the trials chief for I’m A Celeb, told Digital Spy that the reality TV show is going to have lots of new challenges this year – as well as a classic one remixed, leaving the campers covered in more bugs than ever before.
He said:
“This year, there’s a trial that’s got the most ever bugs in it.
“We’ve got 160,000 bugs in one trial. I won’t tell you which one it is, but it’s very exciting.
“We’ve also got a trial with the most snakes ever. It’s the most snakes in one trial; it’s over 50 of them.
“It’s a one-player trial, so it’s one person and 50 snakes. We’ve got the biggest underwater trial ever. It’s the biggest construction underwater, which is very, very impressive.”
- I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! starts this Sunday at 9pm on Virgin Media One.
