Emmerdale’s Lachlan White’s secret may be out, but he’s ready to do whatever it takes to make sure it is kept as quiet as possible.
The murderous teen, played by Thomas Atkinson, killed his mum Chrissie and graddad Lawrence in a rage-induced car crash last year.
The crash also left his aunt, Rebecca, with brain damage and memory loss.
Following the crash, Lachlan half-confessed what he had done in a voice message to his friend Gerry Roberts.
But after he got ahold of Gerry’s phone and deleted the voicemail, Lachlan thought he was in the clear.
It looks like, however, that it will soon come back to haunt both of them as the soap have hinted Gerry will finally hear the recording.
A spoiler trailer from ITV soap shows Gerry confronting Lachlan, insisting that he tell Rebecca what happened – and the murderer refusing.
Later on in the trailer, they are both at a building site – and Lachlan convinces Gerry to go into what looks like a dangerous place.
The trailer ends with Gerry shouting for help while an upset Lachlan sits with his head in his hands.
Just how far will Lachlan go to keep his secret?
The drama is set to unfold on May 17, with the airing of a special episode.
