She also addressed Kanye’s recent controversy.
Kris Jenner began to get teary-eyed as she revealed how her daughter Khloe was doing amid the cheating scandal surrounding her boyfriend, Tristan Thompson.
The 62-year-old recalled her daughter’s first few weeks of motherhood, gushing about how “amazing” she was.
During an appearance on The Ellen De Generes Show, she said:
“I’m so proud of that kid. I get choked up because she’s such a good mom and honestly I get so emotional.
“I was in Cleveland last week, it was snowing, and she was all nestled in the nursery and the baby.
“She’s just concentrating on that, being a mom, her baby and that’s what her sisters are doing as well.”
Khloe gave birth to her first child, a daughter named True, with Tristan Thompson last month – days after it was reported that he had cheated on her during her pregnancy.
And while Kris says that Khloe is focusing being a mum rather than the “unexpected” allegations, she told how the family reacted when they first heard the news.
She continued:
“I think we do what we always do and that’s spring into action with love.
“We all hopped on a plane and flew to Cleveland because that’s what we know to do.
“I’m there to support my kids no matter what happens, and I just do the best I can, just like anybody else would for their family.
“There’s a lot of us. We all get together and we do things together and we’re a force to be reckoned with.”
She also defended her son-in-law, Kanye West, among the recent controversy surrounding him.
The rapper sparked outrage recently with a number of comments, including saying that slavery “sounds like a choice”.
However, when the chat show host asked Kris if everything was OK with Kanye, the momager insisted he “always does things with really good intentions.”
She continued:
“You know, Kanye has a lot of love for all of you, all of his fans, and everybody who’s been there to support him forever.
“And, I know that he will explain himself in his own way.
“And, I think that anything he does–and I just think this is important to say is–he always does things with really good intentions.
“So, I’m going to let him explain himself when the time is ready.”
