The cat’s out of the bag.
It looks as though we know at least one of the celebrities who’ll be appearing in the upcoming series of Dancing With The Stars.
Darren Kennedy has been photographed with pro dancer Karen Byrne in Dublin, fuelling speculation that he’s one of this year’s contestants.
A production source confirmed to The Irish Mirror that Darren is taking part and has been paired with Karen.
“Darren is a perfect fit for the show and everyone is delighted for him,” the insider said.
“He and Karen will be great together. It already feels like another winning combination.
“The celebrities for the next series are currently in rehearsals and have already had their promo photographs taken.”
The photographer who snapped the pair together in Temple Bar this week added that Darren and Karen were trying to avoid been seen together at the time.
RTÉ has not responded to requests for comment on the story.
34-year-old Darren is best known as a stylist and presenter and this year launched his own men’s skin and haircare brand, Kennedy & Co Grooming.
His supposed partner Karen will be looking to make it two for two this year after scooping the glitter ball trophy with her celebrity partner Jake Carter in the last series.
