Modern Family star Norma Michaels has passed away at the age of 95. The news was announced by a family spokesman in The Desert Sun, a local newspaper in Palm Springs.

Norma starred in many TV shows throughout her career including iCarly, Highway to Heaven, The Crazy Ones, Suburgatory, 2 Broke Girls, Angie Tribeca, Playing House, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Everybody Loves Raymond, Dr. Kildare, and The George Gobel Show. She also starred in films such The Wedding Crashers and Easy A.

The statement said that Norma passed away peacefully at her home in California.

Many people wrote tributes on her obituary, and gushed about what a lovely person she was.

One wrote: “I will miss her very much as we used to have dinner together every month or so until she moved to Palm Springs, even then we always kept in touch by phone. I am so glad that she experienced so much success in her acting career in her later years because that was her love.”

While another said: “She had a wonderful career. Her friends, who loved her dearly, spoke of her kindness and career. RIP.”
