Hormones. And rude people.
People say strange things. Some of them mean it, some of them don’t – but either way, it gets to us. It could be hormones that get us so worked up (ALL the hormones), or it could be that they’re generally being rude.
Well, a thread has appeared online of the most annoying things that have been said to mums while pregnant, and yep, we totally get it.
Here are the worst:
“I know people don’t mean to be rude, but if I’m told one more time how big I am…. like seriously.”
“Are you sure it’s not twins?”
“You must be ready to pop!”
“It feels like people constantly calling you fat!”
“I hardly had a bump, was everything ok with the baby etc really upset me.”
“I’m only 24wks and I keep getting, ‘oh, I can’t believe you’re not due until then, you look ready to drop’.”
“I am pregnant with twins and today was told I look really small for being 27w with twins, yesterday someone else told me I’m getting really big, you really can’t win!”
