A lot of celebs are stepping forward to support the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Naomi Campbell has spoken out to support Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to step back from royal life.

When the decision was announced last week, it’s safe to say it shocked the world – and while there has been a lot of backlash online, celebrities are stepping forward to support the couple.

Naomi has always been a fan of the former actress, and told Press Association this week: “I support them whatever.”

It was a simple statement but one that was backed by years of advocating for Meghan. When the new parents revealed that the were taking legal action against the press, the supermodel told The Guardian: “I don’t know how Meghan Markle deals with this [the press] and I’m really glad she’s taken action to defend herself.

“When I heard [she was taking legal action], I was like ‘Bravo. Good for her’.”

Meanwhile, another supporter of the pair is Hugh Grant. According to PageSix, the actor told SiriusXF host Andy Cohen: “I’m rather on Harry’s side, I have to say.”

He continued: “I think, as a man, it’s [Prince Harry’s] job to protect his family, so I’m with him.”

Stormzy also defended Meghan Markle against the criticism she has received this week while appearing on New York radio station Hot 97, saying the he doesn’t understand the hatred against her.

“I’m not super into the royal family but Meghan is a sweet woman, lovely, she does her thing. I haven’t heard her say anything crazy and they just hate her.”

Stormzy pointed to This Morning presenter Eamonn Holmes’ recent harsh criticism of Meghan, who called her “uppity” and “awful.”

“‘I just look at her and I think she’s got that arrogance [said Eamonn].’ I’m like, nah, she’s black man. Just get the f**ck out of here,” he said.

“If I told someone write a list as to why you hate Meghan Markle, the list is rubbish. There’s nothing credible to it but there’s an obsession with the royal family.”
