It is here.

This documentary has been so highly anticipated and there has been a lot of controversy surrounding it.

However, it’s finally here.

And it’s not just the trailer that has been released, the air date has also been announced – and it’s tomorrow, March 15.

The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann will go through the ordeal from the start, will delve into the suspects and also, her parents.

They both seem to play heavy roles in the documentary, however they have already highlighted their dismay at the doc going ahead.

In a lengthy statement, they said:

“We are aware that Netflix are planning to screen a documentary in March 2019 about Madeleine’s disappearance.

“The production company told us that they were making the documentary and asked us to participate.

“We did not see – and still do not see – how this programme will help the search for Madeleine and, particularly given there is an active police investigation, it could potentially hinder it.

“Consequently, our views and preferences are not reflected in the programme.

They added, “We will not be making any further statements or giving interviews regarding this programme.”

Madeleine McCann disappeared from her hotel room in Praia de Luz, in Portugal in 2007, while her parents were having dinner nearby.
