There’s a new ‘Our Graham’ in town and we’re not sure how we feel about it.
The reboot of Blind Date is certainly aiming to change things up. First of all, they have cast Paul O’Grady in the iconic role once made famous by Cilla Black and now they’ve revealed the voiceover for the show.
‘Our Graham’ was the voiceover in the original series and was a huge part of the show. Cilla would call on him to recap on the singletons and what they had said, but we never really knew who he was.
Now, the new ‘Our Graham’ has been announced and it’s not who we expected.
Melanie Sykes has confirmed that she will be the new voice of the show. She shared the news on Instagram saying, “Omg peeps! I am so excited to say I am going to be the new voice of ‘our graham’ on Blind Date’ with the brilliant Paul O’Grady classic childhood telly.”
We’re sure Melanie will do a great job, we just weren’t expecting her in the role.
