There's a shock exit in store for a fan favourite EastEnders character

The door is never closed in soapload.

As we know well by now, soap characters come and go regardless of how the left or whether or not they’re meant to be dead.

Yep, over the years we’ve seen all sorts of excuses to reintroduce old characters into our favourite soaps and it looks like EastEnders could be thinking one of those excuses up to bring this star back.

Kacey Ainsworth who played the lovable Little Mo on EastEnders between 2000 and 2006 says that she has been in talks to return to Albert Square.

Many of the Slater family have returned to the show in recent months and Kacey says that she’s now discussing her return with producers.

“It’s really lovely and very flattering,” Kacey said on Loose Women this week.

“I’m still in contact with all my screen sisters. We’ve talked a lot about coming back and the writers are so good on EastEnders.”

And it all seems even more likely now that Kacey’s old boss has returned to the show.

However, the actress says that the character’s storyline would have to be right for her to return.

“It would have to be logistically right, and I loved her so much that it would have to not dilute her.

“It’s not a definite no, it’s never a definite no.”

Well, we’ll keep our fingers crossed that we’ll see Little Mo back behind the bar in the Queen Vic soon then.
