Kicking off her first event of the festive season and her first event since giving birth, Pippa stepped out for a charity event in London last night.

Attending the Henry Van Straubenzee Memorial Fund Christmas carol service, Pippa was accompanied by her husband, James Matthews, as they attended the charity event in memorial of Henry Van Straubenzee who tragically died in a car crash in 2002.

For the event, Pippa opted for a wine coat with fur collars as well as a crossbody bag as she put on a united front with James, arriving hand in hand at St Luke’s Church.

This was the new parents first time out and about officially since welcoming Arthur Michael Matthews in October. Pippa and James were joined by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for the event. Harry is a close friend of the Van Straubenzees. Earlier this year, he was best man for Charlie Van Straubenzee’s wedding while the third and eldest brother, Thomas Van Straubenzee is Princess Charlotte’s godfather.

Harry and Megan are currently in the midst of all their Christmas engagements which sees them take on a jam-packed schedule until they go to Sandringham to spend Christmas with the rest of the royal family. It has been rumoured that Meghan Markle’s mum, Doria Ragland, has also been invited.

It’s full steam ahead for the royals heading up to Christmas Day.
