Prince George is about to live out the dream of every four-year-old boy in the world and have an episode of his favourite TV dedicated to him.

It’s well known that George is very keen on Fireman Sam.

Now the children’s show, set in at a fire station in the fictional Welsh village of Pontypandy, is going to immortalise him and his family onscreen as it marks a milestone this week.

“We’re going to celebrate Fireman Sam’s 30th anniversary by introducing a very special episode,” producer Ian McCue told People.

“We heard that we have a very famous fan in Prince George, so we thought it would be really fun to bring a royal family to Pontypandy and see how the community reacts to that.”

We first learned of Prince George’s love for the show when his dad appeared on BBC Radio One.

Fireman Sam has taken an awful lot of interest,” Prince William told Nick Grimshaw.

The young prince’s tastes have matured, he added.

“George has gone past the Peppa Pig stage,” said William, though Charlotte “will probably be into Peppa Pig soon.”

This follows the news that Prince William and Prince Harry have cameos in the upcoming Star Wars film.

John Bodega, AKA Finn in the films, confirmed the Hollywood Reporter that the royals will play Stormtroopers in Star Wars: The Last Jedi after visiting the film set last year.
