Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Windsor move spurred on by Kate Middleton

Oh dear.

Is there another reason behind the royal duo’s move?

After news broke yesterday that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to move to Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor Estate early next year to prepare for the arrival of their first child, it looks like another reason could be pushing them out of Kensington Palace.

According to The Daily Mail, a growing “rift” between Kate and Meghan is causing constant tension between the brothers and so, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are choosing to move further afield from Will and Kate.

Speaking to the publication, a source revealed that Kate finds Meghan difficult and that they’re just “very different people”.

Continuing the source added that they “don’t really get on”.

The move to Frogmore Cottage wasn’t a predicted plan for the royal pair, with The Sun reporting that they were meant to move into a larger apartment on the grounds of Kensington Palace.

A royal source told the publication

“The initial plan was for Harry and Meghan to move out of their cottage in the grounds of Kensington Palace and into one of the main apartments.

“But there has been a bit of tension between the brothers.

“Now Harry and Meghan don’t want to live next to William and Kate and want to strike out on their own.”

So, where is Frogmore Cottage?

Frogmore Cottage was a gift from the Queen to the pair – a 10-bedroom cottage in the grounds of Windsor Castle which is currently undergoing a multi-million-pound refurbishment.

It is said that the Sussex family will move “early next year” after the house undergoes a massive revamp and security heighten.
