A huge congratulations is in order for Robin Williams’ son, Zak Pym Williams – he has welcomed a baby boy with fiancée Olivia June.
According to People, the new dad paid tribute to his father by giving his son the name McLaurin Clement Williams. Robin’s middle name was McLaurin.
The publication reports that they will call their son Mickey for short. The baby was born on May 22 but the news only broke last night.
It’s already been five years since Robin Williams passed away.
When the actor died in 2014, the world lost one of its greatest comedians. From movies like Mrs Doubtfire, Good Morning Vietnam and Aladdin, to his anarchic stand-up performances, he brought smiles to the faces of fans across the world.
Reflecting on his dad, Zak said in an interview: “Because I think that was a very lonely period for him. In retrospect, I feel like I should have been there, spending time with him. Because someone who needs support was not getting the support he needed.”
