Saks close down Fifth Avenue to unveil their Christmas windows in New York

Lights, camera, action!

Insane.

Saks Fifth Avenue clearly doesn’t do things by halves and hosting a Christmas event to unveil their festive windows and lights is something they take very seriously.

Inviting members of the media and fashion industry to their shop front last night, the store closed off Fifth Avenue to reveal their seasonal windows which also included a fireworks display, live music and a showcase of over 50 dancers.

One Irish blogger who was there front and centre for the event was Kerry native, Erika Fox (Retro Flame). Sharing a video of the night on her feed, the whole event looked spectacular and Erika noted it as “one of the coolest Christmas events I’ve been to since moving here”.

Those dancers, those costumes!

Many others at the event too shared images and videos singing praise for the event which attracted some well-known faces including creator of NYFW, Fern Mallis, for a night of entertainment and festivities.
