Wondering whether or not daycare is good for your child?

Well, this new study might help shed some light.

In a new study conducted by France’s Sorbonne University, it found that children who attended daycare regularly reaped social and cognitive benefits as well as being overall, better behaved than children who didn’t.

The survey looked at 1,428 children from infancy until they turned 8 years old.

The researchers then divided the kids into three different groups: those who went to daycare, those who have “child minders” (professional caregivers), and those who stay at home.

Then, with the help of their parents, assessing their behaviour the researchers were able to analyse the information and come to a conclusion on their study.

According to the study, children who attend daycare for a year regularly are “less likely to have high levels of emotional symptoms, peer relationship problems, hyperactivity/inattention and conduct problems.”

This study was based on daycare in the US.
