The Queen is set to give Harry and Meghan a SERIOUS wedding present

CAN you imagine?!

The royal wedding is less than three weeks away and it’s fair to say that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are dominating media headlines at the moment.

The latest report is that the Queen has decided what wedding present she will give the newlyweds and let’s just say it is BIG.

Queen Elizabeth previously gifted Anmer Hall to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Will and Kate, so this has led to speculation that Harry and Meghan will also receive a residence.

Anmer Hall is a Georgian country house located in Norfolk and reports suggest that Meghan and Harry might be gifted the nearby York Cottage.

York Cottage is a house on the grounds of Sandringham, the Queen’s royal estate and it’s about two miles from Kate and Will’s place.

This report first appeared in The Herald Sun and although there hasn’t been any confirmation, the news has been picked up by a number of media outlets, including 9 News.

David McClure, a royal finance expert, told the publication that giving a royal residence to a royal newlywed couple is a common tradition.

“It’s their sanctuary, it keeps them sane. William and Kate would do that with Anmer, they’d just disappear.

William got a place on the Sandringham estate at Anmer and my hunch is that if Harry gets a place in the country, he and Meghan might want to be nearer London and as such somewhere in the Home Counties might be preferable. But it might well depend on what land is available either from the Queen’s private estate”.

Kensington Palace previously announced that instead of wedding presents, they would like guests to instead donate to a number of charities, some of which they have visited over the last few months.
