Do you struggle to get yourself up in the morning? Many parents do

Olivia Hayes

We totally get it.

After the recent mid-term break and a three-day weekend just gone by, getting back into a routine can be difficult as even one single day can have you feeling off-kilter.

Like kids, parents can struggle when it comes to early morning wake-ups with one in five admitting to battling to get themselves out of bed in the morning.

The research, commissioned by My Nametags, also found that almost half (48 percent) of parents surveyed felt that the return of homework for their children was the hardest element of getting back into the swing of things after mid-term or any school holiday.

To top that, 35 percent of dads felt that prepping lunches was the hardest part of the back to school routine compared to 27 percent of mums.

We have to say, making lunches, waking up extra early and homework can be the bane of our lives – but someone’s gotta do it!
