Ouch.
There was drama aplenty in Carrickstown last night as its newest resident arrived.
Fair City‘s Kerri-Anne delivered her baby but things looked dicey with Decco nowhere to be found as she went into labour.
It looked like the new mum would be welcoming her child into the world without a father until Mondo intervened and told Decco to go and be by Kerri-Anne’s side.
Decco confessed that he was worried he wasn’t ready to be a father but Mondo managed to convince him, saying “your daughter is coming into the world any minute now. Don’t let her down.”
Kerri-Ann had a tough labour but eventually gave birth to a little girl they named Samantha Vivienne Bishop.
It was an emotional episode – but viewers couldn’t help but notice that baby Vivienne looked a little big for a newborn.
No wonder that birth was tough, she gave birth to a 6 month old baby #FairCity

Fair play to Kerri-Ann for managing that!
Jenny Dixon who plays her on the soap revealed this week that she loved filming the delivery.
“It was fantastic. It was one of my favourite scenes I’ve ever shot,” she said.
“I say that now before I’ve seen it, I’ll only see it when it airs on TV, but I know that it felt great filming it.
“We shot these scenes for just under ten hours straight, so it was pretty similar to a lot of actual labours.”
