Vogue Williams speaks about how she suffered from online abuse while pregnant

Olivia Hayes

You never know what anyone is going through.

Vogue Williams has opened up about her anxiety, telling Women’s Health UK that she finds it difficult to overcome some days.

She said that while most days are fine, there are others which are a “write off” due to her anxious mind and online trolls.

“Sometimes you just have to write some days off, and I know that’s a terrible thing to say, but it’s the truth,’ she told the publication.

“I had days where I was at work and was like, I’ll go for a walk, I’ll do my training and then I’m going to feel much better afterwards. And I didn’t. [Those feelings] just followed me through the whole day.”

She added that during her pregnancy, the online trolling was intense, with people abusing her for working out while expecting a baby.

“I used to get comments off people saying, ‘I think it’s a disgrace, you need to be relaxing, you’re pregnant, you need to take the next 10 months off!’

“But that doesn’t suit me or my lifestyle or the way I feel about myself. I didn’t have to get back into shape. Who am I getting back into shape for? Don’t waste your pity.”

However, she revealed that she has cut down on alcohol, and her husband Spencer has given it up altogether. That, along with exercise, is how she gets her mind back on track.
