A ‘family text chain’ is how the royals communicate and we’re intrigued

Can you imagine the gossip?

No feud here.

Amid ongoing rumours that there’s tension between Kate and Meghan, it appears like the royal family aren’t even entertaining the idea and instead, they’re more than likely chatting about how silly the speculation is in their “group chat” according to royal insiders.

It is understood that Harry, Megan, William and Kate communicate via a group chat where they casually talk about their personal life, plans, engagements and business.

Speaking to Us Weekly, a source said that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are “all on a family text chain”. This comes after Mike Tindall previously revealed to the Mirror that he was in a group chat alongside his wife Zara and her cousins (which would include Harry and William).

Speaking about the chat, Mike revealed:

“I wouldn’t say we’re cutting edge, but it’s just easier for some reason on WhatsApp. I’m in about 25,000 groups.

“You might do it for a get-together and just stay on the group, and occasionally people will post. You’re scared to leave because you don’t want to be seen to be rude.”

Meghan and Harry keep in touch with Kate and William via a group text when they’re travelling, suggests reports.

And so, it’s more than likely that Harry, Meghan, Kate and William too communicate over WhatsApp. Dubbed the “Fab Four”, we can imagine there is plenty Christmas planning within the group chat as the families will be spending Christmas together this year in Sandringham.

We’d believe there is probably some planning for Meghan’s baby shower witihin the group too as Kate is rumoured to be planning the whole thing – you can read all about that here.
