Catherine Corless will be on the Late Late Show on Friday night.

The historian will be joining Ryan Tubridy to talk about her work uncovering the mass grave at the Tuam Mother and Baby Home.

Significant quantities of human remains were discovered at the Bon Secours site early last year.

It was confirmed yesterday by the government that an excavation of the site will be taking place and the remains of the infants and children will be recovered and buried appropriately where possible.

Corless appeared on the Late Late Show in 2017, receiving a standing ovation for her discussion of the tireless work she had carried out over the course of years to uncover the septic tank grave.

Also appearing on the show tomorrow are actor Tom Leech who will be discussing his new role in musical Bohemian Rhapsody as Freddie Mercury’s manager.

Leech is best known for his role as Tom Branson in Downton Abbey.

Comedian Des Bishop, GAA manager Davy Fitzgerald, and Prime Time‘s David McCullagh will also be joining Tubridy on the sofa.

Music will come from Gavin James and Bell X1.
