Student Will was about to leave for school when his dog started crying.
But this wasn’t any old cry – this was an intense, heartbreaking, gut-wrenching sob that would make even the most cold-hearted of people shed a tear.
And the fact that it came from an adorable pitbull named Dublin just makes it all the harder to bear.

Tragic and beautiful all at the same time, right?
If you look close enough, you can even see a tear in Dublin’s sad little eye.
Will’s photo has already been retweeted almost 90,000 times, with an impressive 260,000 likes.
But even though the student has accepted that he needs to leave Dublin and move away to Boston, Twitter users aren’t so sure that he should go.
“Forget school don’t do it to the dog man,” said one user.
“Why am I cryin in the club rn,” wondered another.
Following Dublin the pitbull’s new found fame (for being sad), owner Will decided to make him his own Instagram account… which is probably more to do with strangers on the internet wanting to make sure the dog is okay than anything else, really.

Everything was going grand until Will decided to post a photo of his very final moment with Dublin – at his car just as he was about to close the door.
It is, of course, heartbreaking.
